MULD is a farm collective of 11 climate activists who want to practice regenerative agriculture and fight for a green, just future.
We live on 5.5 hectares outside Holbæk and are working to convert half of the land into a biodiversity forest. In 2024, we had our first season in the market garden with cabbage, beans, lettuce, peas, beets, potatoes, fennel, and lots of other vegetables, as well as our polytunnel and 350m² beds with asparagus. Our long-term dream is to become self-sufficient and possibly supply vegetables to activists in the city.
In addition, we have taken over an orchard with around 250 different fruit trees, including apples, pears, quinces, cherries, and plums, plus a lot of fruit bushes.
We want to participate in the fight for a structural transformation of Danish agriculture, and are therefore part of the network Levedygtigt Landbrug and a member of the association Regenerativt Jordbrug.
We met each other in The Green Youth Movement from 2018 onwards, and are also active in groups such as Fossil-Free Future ✴︎ Climate Psychology Youth Association ✴︎ Apprentices for Sustainability ✴︎ the municipal council in Holbæk for the Red-Green Alliance ✴︎ Climate Movement in Denmark ✴︎ Thousand Madleens Denmark ✴︎ Regenerative Agriculture ✴︎ Nordic Climate Justice Coalition and Økotopia.
We would also like to make our farm available to the Danish climate justice movement, as it has many suitable facilities from its previous life as a restaurant. Please feel free to contact us if you need help hosting workshops, work weekends, etc.
